Concept & Design
Smiles By Design, a modern dental practice led by Dr. Ali Tunkiwala and Dr. Bhakti Tunkiwala, required signage that reflected professionalism, trust, and warmth. The design had to be clean, bold, and welcoming, while aligning with the clinic’s contemporary interiors.
We used a bright red backdrop paired with crisp white laser-cut lettering for the brand name smiles: bydesign. The tagline “personalized dental solutions” was styled in an elegant italic font to highlight the clinic’s commitment to customized care. A subtle swoosh of green and yellow added vibrance and balance to the overall look.
Materials & Manufacture
To ensure durability and premium finish, we crafted the signage using high-quality acrylic:
Base Layer: Clear acrylic sheet with polished edges for a sleek floating effect.
Top Panel: Red acrylic, cut to size with CNC precision, providing a bold background.
Lettering: Laser-cut white acrylic letters for sharp detailing and a glossy finish.
Graphics: Multi-color vinyl inlays for the swoosh element, adding a dynamic touch.
The laser-cutting process allowed us to achieve accuracy, clean edges, and depth that immediately draws attention.
Installation
Our team at Camaal carried out a flawless wall-mounted installation. Stainless steel spacers were used to elevate the signage slightly off the wooden wall, giving it a premium 3D floating effect. The lighting in the reception and hallway further enhanced the polished acrylic surface, ensuring visibility and impact from every angle.
In addition to the main wall signage, we also designed and installed a secondary reception signage, ensuring brand consistency throughout the clinic interiors.
